FAQS:

  • Ferndale now uses 4-digit zone numbers for parking. Pay via app, kiosk, QR code, or text. Know your plate number. On-street spots have a 2-hour limit. Some areas (like Woodward) are app/QR only. Learn more at parkferndale.com.

  • This is an open-house style event. Stop by anytime and stay for as long (or as little) as you'd like.

  • Yes! This is a free community event organized by The Empowerment Collective. While we do not accept cash donations, we do have a wishlist of items if you feel so inclined (more information on our website: https://www.empowermentcollective.group/events)

  • No worries! We’ll have inspiration boards, example phrases, and ideas based on current events and causes. You’ll definitely leave with a message that feels right to you. We also provide free premade digital options to print yourself!

  • Yes, please do! The more, the merrier. Just make sure everyone RSVPs so we can plan supplies accordingly.

  • There will be water and a few light snacks.

  • We’ve got you covered with blank posters, markers, stencils, and other art supplies. That said, if you have special materials or want to bring extras to share, feel free! We also are asking for donated postage if you are able! to bring some!

  • Yes! While the topics may vary in tone & language, we encourage sharing these empowering moments with your littles! We’ll have space, age appropriate activities and materials available for younger attendees.

  • You do not! If you ordered a “ticket” from Eventbrite: The tickets are a formality of Eventbrite and completely irrelevant to our event.
