She Deserves Better. Period.
A Period Equity Drive by Empowerment Collective
Almost There!
She Deserves Better. Period. is an annual local donation campaign focused on menstrual equity and dignity. Last year (2025), we collected new, unopened menstrual and hygiene products to support women, teens, and LGBTQIA+ individuals across Metro Detroit who are experiencing crisis, poverty, or housing insecurity.
This campaign was part of The Care & Keeping of Us series by Empowerment Collective, a community-driven effort to meet people where they are, uplift each other through action, and fight for access, care, and respect for all.
In preparation for this annual fundraiser, we are looking for additional help!
If you are interested in volunteering, partnering, or helping us grow the campaign, please let us know in the form below. We will reach out as planning begins sometime at the start of April 2026.
